CONNECTIONS (Grades 2-5)
The CONNECTIONS after School Program serves students in grades 2-5 at Peck and operates Monday through Thursday, from dismissal until 5:50pm. In addition to homework support, snack, and transportation home, participants will be able to choose from a wide variety of Enrichment Club activities. IN the past, some of these enrichment activities have included cooking, soccer, hip hop, outdoor adventure, drama, basketball and jewelry making.
CHOICES (Grades 6-8)
CHOICES is the on-site after-school program for middle school students at Peck, run by Holyoke Community College. CHOICES enrolls over 150 students a year in enrichment clubs supported by a structured Homework Time. The program runs Monday through Thursday from dismissal until 5:50pm. There is an academic support period where students can receive homework help from tutors and mentors, as well as a period of “enrichment” where students choose to participate in a range of clubs including sports, arts, leadership development and college preparation.
HOMEWORK HOUSE (Grades K-8)
Homework House is a wonderful after-school program that serves Peck students from grades K-8, providing free after-school tutoring and mentoring in a loving and caring environment. The program is located at 340 Chestnut Street. Families can sign up for 2 or 4 days a week, and Homework House picks students up at Peck right after school. Homework House works towards rekindling students’ interests in learning and self-improvement - one page at a time.
