Encouraging Peck Family Leadership!

Peck Parents United in Action (PPUA) has been meeting 3x/month – lunchtime and dinnertime on the same day @ Homework House and once in the Family Resource Room at Peck – in order to build trust and community among the growing group of Peck families and to raise awareness about the resources available at Peck as a Full-Service Community School.

During these meetings, the current needs and aspirations of participating Peck families have been identified and discussed.

A monthly bilingual newsletter for Peck families

Volunteer mini-van program of 5 family members with licensed, insured mini-vans for guaranteed transportation of K-5 students from pre-designated sites in our zone to Peck in order to impact positively attendance and tardiness

Meeting with community police regarding safety in neighborhoods and en route to and from school so that our children can always feel safe.
