Chief of Schools
Dr. Tiffani Curtis joined the education profession in 1992 as a Teach For America (TFA) corps member in Los Angeles, California. She has served as a middle and elementary school teacher, an instructional coach for preschool and elementary school teachers, the founding principal of an elementary school in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a turnaround principal in Albany, NY. Dr. Curtis earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California. She continued at USC to earn a MAT and Ed.D. from the Rossier School of Education where she studied K-12 education with a focus on urban school settings.
Dr. Curtis joined HPS in 2017 as a School Supervisor and now leads the Office of School Improvement and Leadership, which includes the Department of Family and Community Engagement, the Department of Social Emotional Learning, and direct support of the schools within the district.
