The Holyoke High School Theater Company’s Production CAUGHT IN THE ACT Hits the Stage January 11th and 12th
HOLYOKE, Massachusetts – The Holyoke High School Theater Company is bringing the outrageous comedy CAUGHT IN THE ACT to Holyoke this January. Try to keep up with this fast-paced, behind the scenes farce and see if you can tell what’s real and what’s not. The show is produced by The Holyoke High School Theater Company which consists of student actors and technical crew in grades nine through twelve. PERFORMANCES are Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12 at 7:30 pm at Holyoke High School, 500 Beech Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Do you ever wonder what really makes a theater tick? Is it good acting? Good writing? Maybe good management? Wrong! It’s gossip! Is Gracie, the director, suffering from some incurable disease? After all, she is found unconscious on the stage floor. And just who is this backer that Darla, the newcomer, knows who’s coming to opening night? Are they all going to Broadway? This riotous tribute to the gentle art of slapstick keeps everyone on their toes. And that’s exactly where they are when they get CAUGHT IN THE ACT!
CAUGHT IN THE ACT is written by Pat Cook and is directed by Bevan Brunelle. Advanced Tickets can be purchased online www.bit.ly/HHSPLAY or at Holyoke High School. Tickets are $10 for General Admission and $5 for Students. Tickets purchased at the door are $15 for General Admission and $8 for Students with ID. Student IDs will be checked at the door for all online purchases.

A native of Holyoke and Holyoke High School Alum, she graduated with a B.A. in Writing, Performing & Directing for the Stage in 2002 from UMASS and received her Master’s in Teaching from Mount Holyoke College in 2016.
