The months of December and January are a time of year with many celebrations – festive holidays, education campaigns and the start of a new year. Join us in all of our celebrations!
Computer Science Education Week – December 7-13 is a time for us to celebrate the computer science education that is happening in our schools. Share what your student is learning – it can be an app they made, a message about something cool they learned, or even a photo of them engaged in computer science learning.*
Show us your Mask! – With COVID-19 numbers on the rise, we’d like to spotlight all the efforts our HPS community is taking to help slow the spread. Masks are a big part of that safety effort. Show us your favorite mask by taking a photo of you wearing it and share it with us.* Each participant will be entered to win a gift card.
2021 Educational Goals & Hopes – The new year allows for a time for reflection on the goals and hopes for the year ahead. With that in mind, we’d like to ask you: what are you – or your student – hoping to learn in 2021? What are your goals for this year in terms of education? Send us a photo along with your message.* Each participant will be entered to win a gift card.
Three Kings Day – January 6 is Three Kings Day, an important holiday throughout Latin America and many other parts of the world. If you celebrate, share with us! Send us a photo of your Three Kings Day celebration – and tell us what it entails* – for us to share with our greater HPS community.
Martin Luther King Day – January 18 is Martin Luther King day. In honor of the man who dedicated his life to fighting for social justice and against racism, we are going to be sharing some important resources on race and racism. Tune into our social media channels to access these resources.
