8-26-21 Holyoke Update

Dear Families, Partners, Colleagues,

It was great to see everyone in grades 1-12 for the first day of in-person school this week! We are so glad to have all of you back and we look forward to what this school year brings. There’s a lot of happiness and excitement with in-person school happening again, so I want to be sure everyone continues to be safe and follows COVID protocols, especially as some of us are coming back to school for the first time in 17 months. This means wearing our masks indoors except when eating and during mask breaks, washing our hands often, and maintaining social distance. I also encourage you to sign up for our COVID-19 safety checks testing program (student sign-up is here and staff sign up is here).

Finally, we are asking everyone to complete our survey of what middle school should look like for our students. We want responses from all of our stakeholders, whether you’re a student, staff, or a parent, even if you don’t have a child in middle school. Your input will help guide our planning for the future.

Here are the topics in the Holyoke Update this week:

  • Complete our Middle School Survey
  • Bus Tracking and Routes
  • Back to School Packets
  • School Building Committee Nominations
  • School Schedules
  • It’s Time to Enroll for School Year 2021-22
  • Student Device Return Information
  • Join Our Team
  • COVID-19 Updates
  • High School Updates
  • Upcoming Events
  • Reminders

Stay safe everyone, and I can’t wait to see our PreK and Kindergarten students on Monday!

Mr. Anthony Soto, Superintendent/Receiver
