Dear Families, Partners, Colleagues,
¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana! This week we are celebrating a very special time in our schools and our community: Hispanic Heritage Month. With 81 percent of the student population identifying as Latinx or Hispanic, this is a wonderful time to help our students feel proud and represented, while also helping us all engage with the rich Hispanic culture that thrives in Holyoke.
To help celebrate, we’ll also be sharing the favorite authors and artists of the HPS community from across the Latinx and Hispanic communities on all of our social media pages. Also, be sure to check out our Hispanic Heritage Month page for resources to help you celebrate!
Here are the topics in the Holyoke Update this week:
- Superintendent Listening and Learning Tour
- Middle School Input
- Return to School Plan Changes
- Hispanic Heritage Month
- What’s New at the Library
- Cone of Excellence
- Join Our Team
- Connections After School Program Hiring
