Join the Holyoke High School Theater Company on November 18, 19 and 20 at 7PM for three entertaining performances of LOW BUDGET HIGH SCHOOL PLAY written and directed by class of 2022 Performing & Media Arts student Alysha Izquierdo!
Low Budget High School Play is a multimedia tongue-in-cheek comedy that centers around a student theater group trying to produce their first play without help or funding. This hilarious play is all too relatable for anyone that has ever been involved in High School Theater. Will the group quit or will they persevere through the ridiculous problems they are faced with?
Under the leadership of Theater & Media teacher Bevan Brunelle, the Holyoke High School Theater Company is an after-school club that is an extension of the Performing & Media Arts Academy at Holyoke High. This production involves students from grades nine through twelve.
On Nov. 18-20 there will be an evening performance at 7 p.m. Following each performance will be a post-show discussion with the Cast & Creative Team for LOW BUDGET HIGH SCHOOL PLAY. All performances will be hosted in the John F. Sears Auditorium at Holyoke High School, 500 Beech St., in Holyoke, Mass. Masks must be worn by all attendees.
Advanced tickets are $5 for students and HPS staff and $10 for General Admission. Advance tickets are available at the Holyoke High School Main Office and online at https://mifafestival.org/events. Same-day Tickets will be available at each performance for $8 for students and $15 for General Admission.
