Holyoke Public Schools has scheduled three community conversations about the district’s ongoing strategic planning and rezoning initiatives, with opportunities for participants to ask questions and provide input on key aspects of each of them. These conversations are planned as follows:
- HPS employees will meet virtually via Zoom (link to join https://bit.ly/3wp3jY5) from 4-5 p.m. on Monday, May 23;
- HPS students, families, and community partners will meet virtually via Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24; and
- Everyone is welcome to participate in an in-person meeting from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at Heritage Park.

HPS is nearing the end of its strategic planning process, which began last September and ends in June. The district will release a multi-year strategic plan in June/July 2022. HPS will complete the transition to discrete elementary schools (grades PK-5) and middle schools (grades 6-8) and will redraw school boundary lines for fall 2023. (See story below.)
