UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • October 18, Parents of high school seniors – we hope you can join us for FAFSA Financial Aid Completion Day.  We will hold 2 sessions: a morning session from 9-11 AM and an evening session from 6-8 PM.   Read more in this event letter (PDF).  Please review the FAFSA Checklist (PDF) | En Español (PDF) for items that you will need to bring to the session.
  • October 22, School Committee Meeting at 6 PM at the HHS Dean Campus
  • October 23, Maurice A. Donahue MATH Night from 4-6:30 PM at Donahue School
  • October 25, Middle School Building Meeting regarding the design process for the construction of two new middle schools in Holyoke(pending voter approval) at the Holyoke Public Library Community Room at 6:00 PM.   All citizens of Holyoke, especially families of young Holyoke Public Schools students, are invited to participate.   There will be many opportunities for community input over the next eight months, and ultimately, Holyoke voters will decide whether to construct two new middle school buildings.  See flyer https://bit.ly/2DbQVkt.
  • October 26, Morgan School’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration, 5-7 PM, (in collaboration with Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative
  • October 27, Holyoke Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner – Congratulations to the following individuals who have been elected to the first ever Holyoke Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame – Dr. Arthur “Archie” Roberts, Jr., Patrick Brennan, Nicole D’addario, Waymond Dotson, Debra Dumont, Kenny Gamble, Francis Healy, James “JJ”, Jennings, Bruce Mitchell, Francis O’Brien, Julie Peltier, Cedric Washington, and Larry Westbrook.  Join us at the dinner to honor these inductees for their contributions to the Holyoke Public Schools and their election at 6 PM at the Wherehouse. Tickets can be purchased for $25 at Nick’s Nest, Holyoke Sporting Goods, B&B Real Estate, and Pic’s Pub.   • November 2,  Plaque Ceremony to Commemorate Mr. William J. Dean – We invite all members of the public to join us at a ceremony to commemorate Mr. William J. Dean’s contributions to the Holyoke Public Schools and install a plaque in his honor. The ceremony will take place from 6-7 PM at the Holyoke High School Dean Campus (1040 Main Street, Holyoke, MA).  Click here for the event flyer.
