HPS logo with text: Superintendent search update: Volunteers needed to serve on search screening committee

The Holyoke School Committee is seeking volunteers interested in serving on the Superintendent Search Screening Committee. The primary role of the 13-15 member Screening Committee will be to review applications and hold preliminary, confidential screening interviews in order to recommend finalist candidates to be interviewed by the School Committee.

Potential search committee members can be elected officials, parents, school administrators, district teachers or support staff, students, members of the business community, or others interested in the continued advancement of Holyoke Public Schools. 

The School Committee will interview interested Screening Committee Members beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, in the Fifield Room at Dean Technical High School, 1045 Main Street.

Selected volunteers will need to commit to a series of five meetings, all of which will all take place from 6-9:30 p.m. at Dean Tech on the following dates:

  • Thursday, January 8

  • Tuesday, January 13

  • Thursday, January 15

  • Tuesday, January 20

  • Wednesday, January 21

Anyone interested in being considered for the Screening Committee should complete this Screening Candidate Form by 4 p.m. on December 12.
