Seven Donahue students receive achievement awards under DESE pilot program

Seven students from Donahue School were honored yesterday, Thursday March 16, during a recognition program by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. DESE is piloting the awards program to support high-achieving, high-need students across Massachusetts who achieved “Exceeds Expectations” or “Progressing” on the 2022 MCAS and MCAS-Alt in English language arts or math.

Holyoke’s award winners include:

  • Jeydian Roman Ramos

  • Keahla Privette

  • Kamari Asamoah

  • Jessenia Pagan Delgado

Award recipients received packets from DESE that include a certificate of excellence and a gift card.
