The Holyoke Public Schools community was saddened to learn of the passing of Eileen C. Corrigan on February 28, 2024 at the age of 86. As a long-time educator in Holyoke, she served the community in many capacities, including as director of early childhood education and principal at several Holyoke elementary schools.
She was born in Holyoke, where she graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She graduated from the College of Our Lady of the Elms in 1959. She was a resident of Holyoke before retiring to Centreville, MA on Cape Cod.
Calling hours are set for 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, March 16th, followed by the funeral services at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by a funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
