Holyoke students, teachers, staff, and families will perform random acts of kindness on Friday, May 24 as part of Shine On Day to honor the memory and lasting legacy of former SHINE student Genesis Silva.
If you want to share the love, this Acts of Kindness Checklist shares information about Genesis and provides optional fun activities to do at home or at school.
Among the many suggestions included in the checklist are these: Write notes of thanks and appreciation for special people in your lives and smile at everyone you see. There’s lots of other great ideas on the checklist—or spread kindness however you feel moved!
