Parents holding children

Western Mass Families First is partnering with Holyoke Public Schools to offer a free, 12-session “Power of Parenting Program” that runs for six weeks. This is the third time this series is being offered in Holyoke.

A brief informational session is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, beginning at 5 p.m. so families with children ages 3-8 can learn more about the program content and how participating will benefit them and their children. Dinner and child care will be provided at the informational session and all 12 of the regular program sessions.

The program officially begins on Thursday, October 19. All sessions are scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays at E.N. White School, with the final session set for Thursday, November 30. The program offers opportunities for paid parent leadership roles. The graduation celebration includes professional clothing provided by two Springfield businesses: Dress for Success and Suits and Smiles.
