The HPS Operations and Facilities team is hard at work this summer managing a wide range of repairs, replacements, and improvements throughout the district, including:
Roof repairs and replacements at Holyoke High School North, Donahue Elementary, Kelly Elementary, McMahon Elementary, and Sullivan Middle School;
New playground equipment for Morgan School;
Auditorium sound system upgrades at HHS North;
Replacements of dishwashers, sidewalks, flooring, counters, burglar alarms, hot water heaters, doors, and heating and ventilation components;
Painting projects; and
Summer deep-cleaning work at all schools.
The majority of this work has been labeled “critical” for completion this summer, except the summer deep-cleaning work which has been labeled “necessary” and routinely completed each year.
All work is expected to be completed in stages throughout the summer, with all facilities ready for the return of students in August.
