Holyoke High School North junior Darius Kayden Baez—known musically as d4rius—is marking the debut of his self-produced album with a live performance scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Holyoke Media studio, 1 Court Plaza.
The tracks on his new album, “LOSER,” offer a deeply personal blend of hip-hop, rap, and melodic vocals, he said, noting that he wrote, mixed, and produced the album entirely by himself. As a participant in HHS North’s work-based learning program, Darius has been interning this year with Holyoke Media.
