Holyoke Police have responded to a 911 emergency call received by Holyoke High School North earlier today, and they are still at the school.
The school remains on lockdown while an investigation continues. There is no known immediate threat to students or staff. Officers will remain at North until the school is cleared and the source of the phone call has been identified.
“We are in the process of preparing students for dismissal, but buses may arrive late,” said Superintendent Jackie Glasheen. “At this time, all students and staff are safe, and no injuries have been reported.”
