The Holyoke High School Theater Company invites the community to an evening of mystery, mayhem, and laughter with two one-acts: “And Then There Was One – A Spoof” and “And Then There Was One, Too – Another Spoof” by Michael Druce. Performances will take place November 18, 19, and 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the John F. Sears Auditorium at Holyoke High School North, 500 Beech Street.

This two-part comedy mystery puts a playful spin on the classic whodunit, bringing together suspicious characters, unexpected twists, and plenty of reasons to laugh. Join our student performers and backstage crew for a night of live theater—and see if you can solve the mystery before it all unfolds live on stage at Holyoke High School.

This production is co-directed by class of 2027 Performing & Media Arts student Darius Baez and includes students from grades 9-12 in all areas of the production from acting to set creation, sound and lighting design, costumes, marketing and more! The HHS Theater Company puts students at the heart of the production.

Admission is by suggested donation: Students: $5, HHS Staff: $10, General Admission: $15. Tickets can be purchased online until November 17. On the day of the performances, tickets will be available for cash only at the door. Online ticket sales and donations are sponsored by MIFA Victory Theatre.

The Holyoke High School Theater Company is a student-centered afterschool theater club dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence in the performing arts. Under the leadership of Theater Teacher and Producing Artistic Director Bevan Brunelle, students engage in all aspects of theatrical production—from writing and acting to design and direction—building skills that prepare them for success on and off the stage.

Community support helps the HHS Theater Company continue providing students with opportunities to perform, create, collaborate, and bring live theater to Holyoke. Interested community sponsors can email Ms. Brunelle.

Both “And Then There Was One – A Spoof”  and “And Then There Was One, Too – Another Spoof” are produced under agreement with Pioneer Drama Services.
