A dramatic comedy by Qui Nguyen, this production is being produced under special arrangement with Concord Theatricals. The story centers around Agnes Evans (played by Eila Ramoth), a high schooler who is longing to learn more about her recently deceased sister, Tilly (Ema Maldonado). Soon after discovering Tilly’s Dungeons and Dragons notebook, Agnes finds herself propelled into a fantastical adventure complete with ominous ogres and bloodthirsty fairies, and she learns more about Tilly than she ever could have imagined. Celebrate your “inner nerd” and discover why audiences are talking about this action-packed story of grief, discovery, and acceptance. Parental guidance recommended: Contains adult humor and language, violence, and mature themes.

Under the leadership of Theater & Media teacher Bevan Brunelle, the Holyoke High School Theater Company is an after-school club that is an extension of the Performing & Media Arts Academy at Holyoke High. This production involves students from grades 9-12.

Following each of the three performances will be a post-show discussion with the cast and crew. All performances will be staged in the John F. Sears Auditorium at Holyoke High School, 500 Beech Street in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Advance tickets are $10 for general admission, and $3 for student tickets. Advance tickets are available at the Holyoke High School Main Office and online at https://mifafestival.org/event.... Online fees apply. Online ticket sales will end at 9 a.m. on February 8, but same-day tickets will be available at each performance for $5 each for students and $15 for General Admission.
