Middle School Students in Class Talking to Each Other

Middle and high school students looking for fun, free, engaging activities after school have a variety of options to consider:

  • Middle school students are invited to participate in intramural sports through the Play Ball program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Holyoke, 70 Nick Cosmos Way. Each of Holyoke’s three middle schools are invited to field two teams of 15 players each to play volleyball this fall (and next spring) and basketball this winter. The program is offered Tuesdays from 5:30-8 p.m. beginning September 26. Students who wish to participate can contact their school office for more information or call Boys & Girls Clubs Director of Operations Ann Mann at (413) 534-7366 extension 126. Students must have a valid physical on file with their school nurse (no more than 13 months from the date of physical) and parents/guardians must provide a completed Pre-Participation Head Injury and Concussion Reporting Form. All state guidelines for school athletics must be followed.

  • Holyoke High North and Dean students can sign up for extracurricular activities such as athletics and school clubs. Information is available through the guidance department at each school.
