This resource is for children under the age of 19 who are MA residents. It is a program offered by MassHealth that provides basic medical and dental coverage for those who do not qualify for other MassHealth insurance types.

Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance

The DTA assists eligible individuals, and their families meet their basic needs through food assistance, job assistance, cash assistance, emergency shelter, and domestic violence. Individuals might be eligible for Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) or Emergency Aid to the Elderly, Disabled, and Children (EAEDC).
