Congratulations to Holyoke High School Senior Jaylene Moquin (HHS North Campus) for receiving the Mass Association of School Superintendents Award.
Jaylene is a highly motivated student who has worked hard both in and outside of the classroom. Jaylene has taken a rigorous course load each year of high school taking honors and many advanced placement courses. She is captain of the girl's soccer team and participates in indoor and outdoor track, student government, and business club. She has worked at Big Y and also aided in community and volunteer activities such as youth sports teams, eighth-grade tours, and Meals on Wheels. Jaylene’s dream is to become an orthopedic surgeon and has decided to pursue a pre-med track in college with a Biology major. For college, she is considering Northeastern, Boston University, New York University, Tufts, Syracuse, and several others. Jaylene is a genuine, hardworking student who sets high standards and expectations for herself and her future.
