Delayed communications

With the school year fast approaching, some families may be wondering why they haven’t been hearing much lately from the district or their children’s schools via email or text messaging. 

Here’s why:

“Over the summer, HPS switched to PowerSchool as our new student information system, replacing SchoolBrains. However, it’s taken a bit longer than anticipated to smooth out a few final details,”  said Executive Director of Technology and Data Systems Jenny Malave. “The good news is it should all be set and ready to go soon. Thank you for patience and understanding as we work to make the best experience possible for our students and their families. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school or the district.”
