Holyoke Public Schools encourages students to keep their reading skills strong this summer through the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge.
The Summer Reading Challenge encourages students in grades 1-6 to work toward the goal of reading at least eight books, recording the book titles in their summer reading journal, and having a caregiver initial each completed entry.
Students who complete the challenge can earn a free book through both the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program and the Holyoke Public Schools Summer Reading Challenge.
