Students at Morgan Elementary School now have a new space to play, explore, and grow together. On Wednesday, September 2, the school officially unveiled its brand new inclusive playground, giving students of all abilities a welcoming place to unwind during recess.
The new playground features musical and interactive equipment creating opportunities for students to move and play in different ways. The space was designed to encourage students of all abilities to participate and enjoy time together.
The playground was one of several construction and improvement projects completed by Holyoke Public Schools over the summer. This project was made possible through a Community Development Block Grant received by the City of Holyoke.
With the new space now open, students can look forward to making new memories with their classmates for years to come.
