Chief of Student and Family Experience Steven Moguel opens his new video series reflecting on the many ways Holyoke Public Schools is committed to equity for all—including equitable access to resources.
“We know that being in school is one of the most important contributors to student success,” Mr. Moguel said. “We want to make sure we break down any barriers that might prevent students from getting to school, which is why it is so important that we provide access to a wide range of resources.”
Whether it’s food, clothing, supplies, or other resources, Mr. Moguel said, “we are prepared to support every single family. Whatever you may need, please come into our buildings and ask for that help. We keep all such requests confidential. We want to make sure you have what you need.”
