The Community Survival Center offers an emergency food pantry service for individuals from Ludlow, Wilbraham, Hampden, and the Indian Orchard and Sixteen Acres neighborhoods of Springfield.

Fellowship & Meals

One evening a month, from September through June, you can enjoy a hot meal with friends and family–or on your own. Serving begins at 5 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm, just before the Family Film begins.

The Gray House

The Gray House provides food assistance to those struggling to put food on the table through our Market, including curbside food pickups. First time visitors will need to complete an intake form (English or Spanish) for their household. There is no limit on the number of times a household can receive food during the month.

Lorraine’s Pantry and Soup Kitchen

Lorraine’s Pantry is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and hot meal services are available Monday through Friday at 5:00 pm. Services are only available for Chicopee residents.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

SNAP offers nutritional assistance to eligible individuals and families each month to buy food at most grocery stores. Applications can be done online or at a local Department of Transitional Assistance office.

Springfield Rescue Mission
